Best New Restaurant in Town My colleagues and I had the pleasure of dining at Never Blue for the first time today, at lunch. It was a truly delightful experience.
The abmiance is incredible. The decore is both edgy and welcoming. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly. And the service was prompt, friendly and professional. I'm a Hendersonville resident who dines out regularly and this is the first time in a very long time that I've experienced a perfect dining experience here in town.
Kudos to the owner, the chef and the staff of Never Blue. Everyone at my table today applauds you for a job well done. [28 Mar 2008 21:26:23]

Never Blue is a Very COOL place! This place is almost TOO hip for Hendersonville! I really thought I would see a younger crowd there too but did not that Friday night. It has a pseudo-patio that makes you feel like you're outside on the veranda and tables inside on multi-levels. Great lighting and decor. We were impressed with the Cuban sandwich and the calamari. Very good drinks as well! Our server was not good at all but I would definitely give this place another chance. Hopefully the service has improved after at least two tables complained about the piano-playing waiter that night. Definitely give it a try. [08 May 2008 09:42:29]

Never Blue a Refreshing Change I've had lunch at Never Blue twice, and am looking forward to trying it for dinner. The menu is creative but not too "out there." Had the amazing shrimp cocktail (14 peeled shrimp, avacado cubes, cilantro, in a very good, spicy sauce) and then the batter dipped fish sandwich. It was wonderful. Perfectly done; not greasy at all, and with a great tartar-type sauce. I can't wait to go again! [16 Jun 2008 11:28:39]

Never Blue Does Not Put Customers First! Had lunch at Never Blue on Wednesday. Same great food, as usual, but was surprised to see printed on the bottom of the lunch menu, "We will not issue separate checks at lunch. NO EXCEPTIONS!" I couldn't believe it. I eat out often with friends, and it is common practice to split the check. We asked the waitress, if she wouldn't issue two separate checks, would she take our credit cards and put my charges on mine, and my friends on hers. She emphatically said no; she was not allowed to do that. Then she became very defensive and rude. (We were very pleasant, and told her that we knew it wasn't her fault, but we'd never heard of such a thing, and we weren't happy.) I have only heard of a policy such at this with really large parties. After our conversation with the waitress, she never came back to check on us, or to refill our drinks. I was very surprised and disappointed. [09 Aug 2008 13:13:46]
