Having read an excellent review of this restaurant in the Asheville Citizen, my husband and I were anxious to taste for ourselves. I ordered the fish special and my husband, the chicken, both of which came with a thick, sweet and spiced cornbread and 2 sides. Our choices were tasty but all dishes were either fried or prepared with a lot of oil. The terms "healthy eating" don't apply at One Love. Salads don't exist nor does soup so anyone wanting a contrast to oily and more oily won't find it here. We appreciated rather than savored and will not return.    [18 Jan 2008 14:23:01]

Can't Wait to Go Back!!
We were met at the door by a friendly smile and promptly escorted to our table. They have Pepsi products, so that is definatley a plus!! Having had Jamacian fare before, we had expectations on what we would order: husband - jerk chicken, me - ox tail stew. The food appeared quickly and was beautifuly arranged on our plates. We both ordered the small sizes of our meals, and there was more than enough for both of us (I had enough left to have a take-out box). The quality of the food was incredible - it just got better with every bite! With my husband's jerk chicken, he got rice with beans and collard greens. I ordered the steamed cabbage with my ox tails, which also came with rice and beans. We received a piece of sweet cornbread each - moist and delectable!!
