The Berne has a family restaurant atmosphere, with reasonable prices. Food is served reasonably fast, and if you don't have time to wait, the buffet is usually well stocked.
As most of the food is Southern Style, it might not be a good place to eat if you are trying to watch your weight.    [25 May 2000 21:34:55]

Want to eat the way Southerners eat at home? Try the Berne Restaurant in New Bern, North Carolina for a taste of the Old South. They serve the best breakfast in the south, healthful lunches, with fresh fruits and vegetables, and scrumptious dinner buffets. Priced reasonably and a homey atmosphere.
