save your time and money We ate at the Cape Fear Restaurant approx. mid-November of '06, We were not impressed with the experience at all. The meal was the same one we have eaten for the past 25 years, same ol' same ol'. The bar was of unfinished plywood and full of smoke.
Not a very pleasant place to spend any time in. [18 Dec 2006 13:19:47]

You can't beat the view! I agree the food is a bit over priced for the quality of the dishes. Getting past these shortcomings however, the staff is more than adequate and the view makes up for the hole burned in your wallet. I recommend this restaurant to individuals that are not looking for fine dinning with rich mahogany tables and bottle of chilled wine present at your table upon arrival, but people looking for a majestic view coupled with a unforgettable social dinning experience.
