Description

Located near the beach and the center of activity in Surf City, the house specialty is carb cakes eggs benedict. Also for breakfast is the blue monkey pancakes, breakfast is served until 11:00 a.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends. For lunch and dinner choose from seafood, steaks, pasta and salads. Located near the fishing pier, you can even request they grill your fresh catch for a fee. Closed on Tuesdays in the colder months.

You're Grandma's Cooking Just Got Better!!
My Husband and I had breakfast at Mollies this week and KNOWONE SHOULD MISS THIS PLACE while in Surf City.

Mollies is a little diner that doesn't really show off in any way but the food. We had the crab cake eggs benedict which was unbelievably tasty and left us wanting more.
The South West scramble with salsa and sour cream was very nice also. However, the one item THAT SHOULD BE ORDERED is the Sweet Potato Pancake! This may have been the best pancake I have ever tasted. Its just sweet enough to make you want more and nice and light in texture.

Unbelievable all together and we will be heading back this week before heading home to the Northern VA area. I will miss these pancakes and they will be one of the things that will bring us back to Top Sail next year!    [09 Oct 2008 14:23:32]
