First Experience
Rendini's is a small Italian Restaurant, that will accomidate you immediately. The atmosphere is quite charming and pleasant. The service was very friendly and quick paced. The food, of what I tried wasn't that bad. Let me elaborate... while waiting for my order they brought bread and an oil based dip. The bread I thought had too much rosemary, it was overpowering, the dip looked interesting but tasted horrible with that bread! My entree the Lobster Ravioli was amazing! The pasta was stuffed with lobster and cheese, and had a lemon butter sauce over it. For dessert I had the tiramisu, one of my favorite dishes at Italian restaurants, however; this one was pretty good, not the best I've ever had, but one of the top ten. My husband let me try his cannoli, that I must say was the best I've ever tasted. Next time, I will order that for dessert.    [17 Jan 2007 23:04:52]

Always A Pleasure
Given that I am fan of Villa Antonio's (one of Charlottes finest), I can truly say that Rendini's is as good as it gets. I don't think it fair to judge a restaurant on one visit so I have been back many times and each time I am not dissappointed. Dissappointed
We have always been satisfien with the food and service at Rendini's. However tonight the respose to a complaint was ignored and dismissed. My husband and I are on a limited budger due to his Stage 4 Cancer, and we splurged tonigt by ordering subs from there. My husband did not receive what I ordered and my black and blue was dry and almost unedible. This is probably ok except we called twice and the first time we were told we ordered the wrong thing and the second time they hung up on us. I have been in the service industry my entire life and have never dealt with customers this way. I feel the management needs to know what is going on when perhaps they are not there. Needless to say, it will be a long time before we "spluge" at Rendini's again.    [21 Sep 2007 18:46:10]

Rendini's is one of the finest Italian Restaurants
We have had the pleasure of eating at Rendini's many times and it is one of the best Italian restaurants I have eaten in. I travel a great deal and whenever I am in the area, I make it a point to visit them. The pizzas are phenomenal, as good as anything I get in NY or Chicago.    [28 Oct 2007 13:16:44]
