Quality has deteriorated
Fried oysters, for example,are described on the menu as "lightly battered," but now are near-fist-sized globs of deep-fried batter in which a tiny fragment of oyster is hard to find.    [19 Mar 2004 16:30:08]

Wonderful food and service one of our favorites !!
Found the oysters just as described on the menu, lightly battered and wonderful to the taste !! Find the trout lightly fried to be absolutely the best. We are seasonal for the last 15 years to Waynesville and find the food to always be consistant and tasty asd the service as good as the last meal. Made our first stop at Maggies Galley over 20 years ago. It is still our favorite place to eat. Have never found anything on the menu we didn't like.    [03 Feb 2007 08:40:10]
