Big Changes for the Worse
For more than 10 years Front Street has been a cozy brewpub and restaurant in downtown Wilmington with great beer and decent food. Not anymore. The chef, the menu, half the seats and all the plates are gone and Front Street is now a seedy dive-bar catering to the college crowd. Still the same great beer, but you have to wonder how long that will last. Stop in for a brew, but under no circumstances order anything to eat.    [27 Dec 2005 08:48:11]

this place has CHANGED! FOR THE BETTER

The family and I dined her in October 06 and after their remodeling this place is still a nice small town brewpub with good beer but the menu and food have been VASTLY improved. The tuna dish I had was superb and my mom raved about the salmon salad. I had a witbier (which was decent) and two scotch ales (which were better). The taste I had of the lager was good and the raspberry hefe was rather unenjoyable (too much). My wife complained about the steak but I think it wasn't what she was expecting from something called "filet" (it was more like a cut of top sirloin and not filet mignon)    [07 Nov 2006 10:50:55]
