Dreadful, Positively Dreadful
I took my family to this restaurant for my wife and my anniversary. The food was dreadful--overcooked meat, runny sauces, and outrageous prices (10 bucks for pasta Alfredo when the menu suggests $2.99).

The waitress was incompetent, and the manager simply did not care about the poor quality or our complaints, even when we pointed out the poorly prepared dishes and the fact the waitress told us there was no children's menu.

We won't go back. Ever. And we'll share our experiences with our many friends.    [03 Jan 2005 17:57:10]

The Best Restaurant Ever
We go to Giorgio's a lot and my husband and I always split one meal because the portions are enough for four very hungry people. I have never had a bad experience and if we ever have a problem the management is always helpful and friendly. The food is great and very reasonably priced, and the waitstaff if excellent. Whoever has a bad time here is obviously someone who cannot be pleased no matter what!    [07 Apr 2005 12:39:30]

Never a bad experience!
I have to agree with the review above me. Giorgio's is great. My family and I usually will order one plate of chicken gorgonzola and we will share it. That is for two adults a thirteen year old, eight year old and a five year old. I will also have to mention TRY THE HOT WINGS!!! They are great.    [29 Apr 2005 11:48:05]

Excellent Restaurant
We had an excellent experience there. The food was plentiful. The bread was delicious. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, even the kids.    [22 Oct 2005 18:03:43]

WONDERFUL
This was a great experience. I know the owner personally because I worked at his brother's restaurant in Elizabethtown, NC. He is great and the food and service is excellent. I think that I could eat off of one dish three times. One pound of pasta for every serving!!! Everyone should try this restaurant and the Giorgio's in Elizabethtown. Both are great choices with a variety of menu choices.    [07 Nov 2005 11:55:22]

The Best
My family is from New Jersey and we used to vacation at Carolina Beach. Giorgio's was our favorite place to eat. We are actually contemplating a trip just to visit Giorgio's.    [08 Mar 2006 10:55:58]

Great - but new owners
I have loved giorgios for years, but an ownership change occurred, and it is a bit less yummy. Still worth every penny. Definately split a plate, the portions are huge    [26 May 2006 17:44:12]

Needs Improvement
We used to like Giorgio's; after 4 years now, march 2007 it seems to be going downhill. Tons of tasteless pasta with very little sauce. Everything has pork in it, so if you don't eat pork--forget this place. The last time I was there will probably be our last. Service was bad and food was barely warm.    [05 Mar 2007 09:47:43]

Good Italian food
The food is consitantly good. Our last visit (last week) was disappointing because the service was very slow. The problem was in the kitchen not with our waitress. It was not crowded so I dont know what the problem was. Maybe new owners? I dont know.    [23 Jun 2007 16:45:42]
