clean enjoyable atmosphere friendly staff
I have eaten in a few of the Aunt Sarah's and by far the one in Wilson is the best. Never have I seen such a clean restaurant and friendly servers. So to all who have had a bad experience please find out what southern hospitality is at the Wilson Aunt Sarah's.

Worst service I ever had in a restaurant. Food was not very good either. Had a grilled chicken salad ordered with no tomatoe. Got tomatoe and chicken was soggy and uneatable.    [08 Jul 2003 20:54:30]

You should know
My wife and I usually visit your resturant in Ruther Glen, Va. friendly service and great chicken. I recently took a group of my employees to the one on Brook Rd. in Richmond (maybe Glen Allen) Va. for lunch. We waited for 45 minutes for our meal to be served and the chicken was terrible. It was not cooked right and was greasy. We would have sent it back but didn't want to wait any longer for our meal. I mentioned it to the hostess when I paid the check and she said she was sorry. not quite worst meal
Have enjoyed your food since 1960's @ your store just north of Richmond, Va. Have eaten @ store on Midlothian Pike until it got dirty and bad management. Have enjoyed your new store on Hull Street until just a few hours ago.
1) 2 of your help talking, ignoring me until I asked IF they could seat me.
2) Place filthy
3) Asked for water @ once so I could take medication
4) Received coffee and order, no water.
5) Asked again
6) Syrup pitcher had no syrup, had to track down someone to bring a pitcher with syrup.
7) Pitcher, with syrup running down sides and caked on sides. DIRTY
8)Had to call 2 different waitresses to get coffee refills.
9) NOT what I call a nice Sunday lunch for me and my wife.
10) Still stop and enjoy your store in North Carolina just south of the border on Rt 95.
Do not plan on going back to eat at such a poorly run store as you have in the Richmond area.    [22 Feb 2004 12:27:00]

This restaurant was very pleasant and clean. The food was excellent and if you like that country feel this is the place to go. Also, they have wonderful nestalgia all around sort of like a museum. The staff was excellent and food was extremely fresh. Recommended dish was fried chicken and the pancakes were excellent.

If you want that southern hospitality that's well known in the Carolina's and that down home cooking that your grandmother use to cook than stop by Aunt Sarahs Pancake House in Wilson, North Carolina. The staff is friendly, efficient and attentive to your needs. The food was hot & fresh and you could tell it was cooked with care not to mention delicious.    [01 Aug 2005 01:10:36]

could not get waited on
Went 2 times and waited and waited to have wait personel just to walk by and and not offer any service whatsoever.
I guess standing in the corner looking at the 3 tables that did have customers was to overwhelming for 3 wait staff. I waited 30 min 1 time and 15 min the next trying to give them one more chance. Never again and I live in this Town.    [26 Feb 2007 10:24:40]
