If you are looking for good, real, pizza in the Triad, go to Burke Street Pizza. Awesome crust and awesome sauce. If you want to try something a little different, the Voo Doo Pizza (spicy chicken and sausage with red, green, and banana peppers) is unbelievably good! Also excellent sandwiches, both hot and cold. Excellent Pizza - Best in Winston-Salem
I tried Burke St. Pizza for the first time last week, and am hooked. It's the best pizza I have eaten in Winston-Salem. Great tasting sauce, fresh pepperoni (not that frozen/cardboard taste that you sometimes get from the chain pizza places). I haven't tried anything except the pizza so far, but the pizza is awsome.

Used to be a fine pie...
Burke Street knows how to make a pretty good pie. Unfortunately, after the rise in cheese prices they decided that cheese should be an afterthought. I stuck with them and payed more for extra cheese. Now that has become a sprinkling.

Burke St Pizza...counter staff is horrible
The food is great here, at Burke St. Pizza. The Delivery drivers are friendly, and I always tip well. However, the counter staff, when you walk in, is rude. Very Rude. EVERY time we do pick-up, I almost leave without my food, on purpous. Otherwise, great, but the staff needs to be fired.    [08 Jul 2005 16:53:54]

Good Pizza!
