Not all O'Charley's Are Created Equal
Having had many great eating experiences in O'Charley's at Charlotte, NC and Paducah, KY, we invited three friends to share such an experience in Winston-Salem, NC, located in the Hanes Mall Area. We were so embarrassed! Not one of the five orders was filled correctly, the food was cold, the recipes (chicken salad) were quite different, service was very slow, and the manager, though embarrassed, didn't seem to be in control of the quality or the employees. i went into the restaurant on Sunday for lunch for the first time. the food was great. The people that work there were so nice. We had mangers come over and ask if everything was good. Staff was very friendly and a nice atmosphere. I have a 2 year old and this place is great for kids.    [06 Sep 2005 11:14:16]

We Had Almost Given Up Hope . . .
Having been to several restaurants and been sorely disappointed, we were almost at a loss for where to go. But we were in the neighborhood and heard some good things about O'Charley's. My husband and I went to O'Charley's on a Saturday - and it was fairly quiet. We were seated quickly, got our drinks ordered and served within 10 minutes, had our salads about 5-10 minutes later and the rest of our food 10 minutes after that. The service was awesome, and the food was impeccable. Our glasses were never empty, as our waitress was right on top of things. Then we found out that kids can eat for free - anytime!
