Pleased with Olive Garden We eat at the Olive Garden in Winston Salem, NC about every week. We have to drive one hour one way but we don't mind. We usually always get seated within 30 to 45 minutes. We have had a really bad couple of months. We had two deaths with 12 days in my family. My father died and then my sisters husband died. Someone must have let them know about our sad time. They sent us a gift card for $30.00. They also sent a note saying "something to brighten your day.
We are so grateful. [28 Apr 2003 19:10:33]

Very Pleasant Dining Experience The hostess found us a quiet booth, out of the traffic pattern, so we were actually able to enjoy conversation (unlike many of the noisy restaurants around here). Staff was very attentive but not pushy. Well prepared food, including a very good and ample salad. [25 Feb 2004 20:39:12]

Rude Manager The Manager of the Winston-Salem Olive Garden is by far the rudest individual I have ever met. Our waitress went up to him and asked for some help in the bar area, which was very busy. All 6 tables were full, as well as the bar, and she was the only one working that area. She asked him if he could find a waiter who could help her, and the manager's exact words were, "If you weren't standing here talking to me, maybe you could get something done." Now, a manager should never say this to one of his employees who are trying to do their job and give their customers timely service, nor should they do so within earshot of their customers. I will not be back. What if my order had been wrong? Heaven forbid I mention it to him. He would have said, "Had you ordered it right, it would be right." [25 May 2005 14:28:09]
