If you're looking for a great late-night destination, Buddy's is the place. It's generally packed with a rowdy late-night crowd. - CitySearch - suggest change

How about the food? Well consider it an afterthought. Beer and watching traffic go by are the big draws at Buddys.    [17 Dec 2000 18:46:31]

Obviously
Buddy's is low key...no yuppies, no jerks, no fancy key chains. Just plain folks drinking, dancing, and having a good time. Buddy's has real beach cooking. Don't come here if you're a yuppie looking for an overpriced piece of fish to eat...save us the trouble and go to Clarence Fosters.    [02 May 2002 19:31:19]

FUN, FUN, & MORE FUN
What a great place! The best gathering place on the entire East Coast! The atmosphere is very casual & FUN!
Coldest beer ever, & sweetest tasting shrimp. Buddy's is the place!    [21 May 2002 16:27:01]

This place is bad
After waiting an hour and forty min. to get food the bartender didn't know how to make a margarita? At the beach?

Secondly we had this waitress that messed up with the wrong beer twice, and brought out burnt burgers nearing 11ish. We ate them anyways, three plates were left untouched. The manager didn't apologize, wouldn't accept what we had to say and shrugged us off towards the door.    [27 May 2003 14:54:55]

Awesome
Moved from Ohio, not a redneck, and had great food here after a day at the beach. Everyone has a great time in there. We ordered and enjoyed shrimp with old bay and crab legs.    [09 Jan 2005 20:39:19]

The Best!
Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent beer, and excellent customers. What more can you ask for in a bar. Everyone I know loves Buddies.    [31 Jan 2005 17:12:05]

Buddy's....
Any tired surfer, weather beaten sailors, love-hungry farmers, slightly tipsy Irishmen will find themselves at home in the friendly, unassuming, relaxed surroundings, just off the beach. Staff are superb especially Morghan, legend has it her sister is just as good looking!! The food is delicious and cheap, you can play the juke box all day whilst sipping cans of cool Bud or if you're the adventurous type, challenge yourself to a game of photohunt!! All in all a delightful experience, an all-American bar that does exactly what it says on the tin.    [12 Apr 2005 14:05:50]
