The Best of the Beach
We started going to Wrightsville Beach a few years ago. We asked the locals where to eat, and most of the ones we asked said MOI. We ate there for breakfast one morning, and were hooked. It's just a little joint, but the food is very good, they give you plenty of it, and the prices are great. We live in Charlotte, N.C., and there are plenty of restaurants here, but I'd trade most if not all for the little Middle of the Island. Oh, and they are fast, too. I heard the waitresses there make more than anywhere else in the area, due to tips. They are friendly, but don't waste time chit-chatting. A really good place to eat.    [23 Feb 2003 19:59:15]

Our Favorite Place
We live in N.J., but would like to live in N.C.! We visit a few times a year, and always go to MOI. In the winter, we dream about the hush puppies and sweet tea. The mac and cheese is so comforting, and the apple crisp is home-made. We always try a different main dish, and it is always supurb. My little guy (9) loves the corn dogs. Try the Crab Omelet

Chicken Salad Heaven
My fiance and I have been going to MOI since we first started dating a year ago. We are locals in the Wrightsville beach area and are addicted to the chicken salad plate with a choice of three sides! Best Local Restaurant
I am from Atlanta and just got back from visiting my Dad in Wrightsville. Lucky him-his boat slip is right around the corner from MOI. He wanted us to eat there for brunch on Sun. The old little building doesn't look like much, but man is this place a gem! There was a constant line out the door. I had fried oysters which came with three sides! Huge menu and I am not a huge fan of omlettes, but the meat lovers that my husband had was AWESOME! The potatos were superb as well. MOI is Gone!
I was at Wrightsville for the weekend of January 26th, 2007 and MOI has closed up and moved somewhere over near UNC-Wilmington. Bummer! It was a good breakfast spot. Too bad it's gone. The building is going to be torn down and condos (what else!) will occupy that spot.    [29 Jan 2007 10:13:02]
