Poor service/bad food This place smells musty- almost like the roof is leaking. My steak was o.k. but my wife's tasted rancid. It took forever to get silverware. The crab legs did not come with the small fork to pull the meat out with. We never did get dinner rolls. The server disappeared for a long time when we were ready to pay the bill. Disappointment Went to Grandpa's for a family celebration... had to ask to get water at the table, beg for iced tea. Had to ask for a children's menu for the 5 year old (gee, do you think he needs a $20+ entree?). No one checked to see if the steak was cooked correctly. No one refilled the iced tea. When we paid our $44 bill -- two adults and one child with a mandatory 15% tip for a group. I told the cashier we were very disappointed in the service... Her answer? "Yeah, I know." Not an I'm sorry or we were really busy... Couldn't believe it! [28 Mar 2007 21:16:26]

Best Beef in Kearney After stopping at many chain restaurants in Kearney over the years, we discovered this unobtrusive restaurant on the other side of the freeway. A very pleasant surprise, the Food and service are exceptional and the prices are very reasonable. The Meats are what you hope to expect in the middle of "cattle country". [24 Apr 2007 10:06:57]
