Setting Second-to-None
Barrymore's is actually a little bit difficult to find, in the alleyway behind the movie theatre, but it is a must-visit for theatre buffs. Barrymore's lies in the "backstage" of the movie theatre, a former vaudeville house converted for cinema audiences. Barrymore's is behind the screens. As you enter, you pass an enormous disused lighting board, and as you gaze up, you can see the fly area far above. I must admit to never having consumed more than drinks in this space. The service was above-par, I must say, but what I must really say is that the space excells beyond any other in the entire midwest...    [20 Oct 2002 00:20:13]
