What the heck happened?
I'm from Chicago, so Atomic Dog is like a gift from Ditka for a chi-town boy trapped in bore-maha. After two successful trips for a polish and fries, something horrible happened. First we waited forever for our food. We watched others who walked in behind us get served well before we saw a single crumb. Then I discovered that the fries were SOGGY. They were absolutely inedible. I was surprised because they are typically fried correctly. On top of that, the dog sitting beside the grease-strings wasn't even what I ordered! My colleague's meal came out in similar greasy, late, and incorrect fashion after five more minutes. I don't know what happened to this place. The guys behind the grill were the regulars. Perhaps they woke up on the wrong side of the bed? If Atomic Dog corrects these issues, this can be a great place to eat in the future. Until then, I'm staying away.    [09 Feb 2007 14:40:48]
