Stiff Ambience, Overpriced Food
My wife and I decided to try 55 Degrees as there aren't many options in Concord for formal dining. We thought we'd give this place a try as the menu looked appealing.

We were wrong.

First of all, the help is quite snobby. It took us some time to get seated though there were tables available. The place never seems busy and obviously there's good reason for that.

Once we were seated we had some wine, which, interestingly enough was not served at 55 degrees (the temperature wine is supposed to be served at--I don't think the owners realize this). The food was very salty and the portions small.

The entrees were not cooked correctly, though took a long time to be served. The ambience suffers from a lack of balance, they can't decide on a modern or rustic look.

Overall we were very dissapointed and won't go back. We have told people to stay away, save their money and go to Manchester, to a restaurant that doesn't have to charge a lot to be snobby, and if they are have good food to make it worth it!    [12 Jul 2007 22:46:34]

Poor Service and Abusive Manager
My wife and four of our friends went out for dinner at 55 Degrees. We waited 35 minutes for our snobby waiter to bring us our cocktails. They served very expensive red wine in white wine glasses. The espresso was cold. We were incorrectly charged for several items (charged for six martinis when we only ordered three). When we questioned the bill the manager told us "folks like you should eat in Bedford" and then tried to humiliate and intimidate us. Not recomended unles you want to pay $450.00 for a party of six to be abused by the manager.    [19 Sep 2007 15:06:30]
