The Best Restaurant in Concord

Excellent all Around
What a find!!! I was immediately greeted at the door by the owner, seated at a wonderful window-side table, offered beverages right from the start. The menu was explained in detail by the wait staff who seem to truly enjoy their jobs. The salad/soup bar is exceptional - everything's fresh as can be.
The presentation of the meals was standard but the mix of spices and flavors was exquisite. I had the Mixed grill with chicken, beef and shrimp - each with it's own complimentary sauce. My dining partner had a steak with a spicy sauce. It wasn't as spicy as he'd hoped, but it would appeal to the average pallet. We were offered beverage refils at all the right times and because the dining room is small, no need was left unnoticed by any of the staff. We were not rushed to leave and the owner checked in on us occassionally, but not intrusively, to make sure all was well.

Best Bistro Built!
No other dining experience compared to my night out, New Year's Eve. The service and quality of food was superb. The new chef who introduced himself as "dough boy" made a wonderful swordfish dinner.
What wonderful candlelight and stars surrounding the dinner floor. It made for one of my best New Year's ever! Check it out!    [03 Jan 2004 01:17:59]
