Pleasant atmosphere and great food!
After living in the upper valley for over a year and being disappointed with culinary mediocrity, we finally decided to try Salt Hill. We had previously walked by the building and noticed that it was usually quite busy, but assumed that it would be no different than any other local place. In keeping with my tradition, the first entree I ordered was fish&chips. The fish was properly prepared (not overcooked) and was the best I have had in this area. The rest of my party enjoyed their food as well (mac&cheese, turkey sandwiches, etc.). The beer selection is pretty good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the $2 grab bucket.

Although I have eaten at better restaurants in other areas, Salt Hill is one of the best food values in the upper valley! Note that the ratings may not be quite accurate--I would consider the first part of the descriptions for each rating to be sufficient, without description following.    [29 Oct 2006 16:37:23]

Excellent Atmosphere, Food and Drink
Salt hill is the best pub in the area. The menu is varied and the food is delicious.
