The flavor of summer
Whether it's seafood, hamburgers, hot dogs or ice cream you crave, Goldenrod will not disappoint!

Rating system 1 worst-10 best

Atmosphere: 9 A nonstalgic look back to the summer of yester-year, but without bieng overtly tacky. Seating both inside and outside is adequate.

Menu: 8 Get a taste of classic New England seafood, or American comfort food ranging from hand-made onion rings to homemade chicken tenders.

Appetizers: 7 hand made onion rings were a sweet as the vidalia onions themselves, with a light coating and crisp texture. The clam chowder was creamy and full of little bi-valves.

Entrees: 7 the mountainous seafood plate was impressive and tasty, piled high with fish, clams, shrimp and scallops, and accented with a very potent cocktail sauce. The chicken tenders were succuent and golden brown helping me to forget about the limp greek side salad.

Dessert: 10...a perfect 10! Too many ice cream flavors to count and generous portions make Goldenrod THE place to satisfy any sweet-tooth.

Portions: 8 with a "feed, not fatten" mentality, Goldenrod will leave you satisfied and stomach ache free.

Serivce: 7 Snappy counter servers push food out with urgency, but remembered to always wear a smile.

Cleanliness: 6 Sticky tabletops were a setback, but no complaints otherwise.

Value: 8 Ice cream is a steal at 2.35$ for a small and 3.20 for a large. Seafood is reasonable at 11-16$ While most other items are 5$ or less.

Location: 8 Nestled just off of Candia Rd in Manchester NH, near beautiful Lake Massabesic, Goldenrod offers great food and nice views.
