We had an appetizer of calamari tempura. There were two sauces to select from, a soy and a pink sauce that seemed to have a mayonaise base, but it had a nice spicy tang to it. I had tuna encrusted in sesame seeds and it came with brown rice and string beans. Tuna was done to perfection, just seared on the outside and a beautiful red inside. String beans were tender crisp and rice was as rice usually is - sticky but good. My partner had a steak with a miso sauce. This was done rare as requested and came with string beans (tendercrisp) and a wasabi mashed potato. The potatoes were not as spicy as he thought they would be. Dessert was a shared gooey chocolate cake drizzled with a raspberry sauce and dollops of whipped cream. Very good. Our waiter was informative and answered many questions. We went early evening, maybe 6 pm and it was not crowded for a friday evening, but we went at that time (directly from work) to avoid the crowds. From what I understand they have a later clientele that is more of a 20-something crowd. There were two families with children and all were well behaved. This is a place that seems to know how to prepare seafood as well as steaks.
