No longer a Brewpub I went to the Bar and Grill 18 months ago in the winter and enjoyed a locally-brewed wheat beer. Sadly, the establishment has gotten away from serving draft microbrews. They have Bass, Budweiser, BudLight, Michelob Honey Lager and a few other mediocre national beers on tap and that's it. Beers are expensive, at $6.50 a pint. Even sodas are not refillable and go for $2 a pint. Somehow the B&G lost its unique ambiance when it started catering to uppity tourists. Apparently the new thing there are Maine lobsters for $12 with baked potato and a martini, but not good microbrews. It's not a bad restaurant, it's just not a place I'd drive an hour to spend time in. [18 Jul 2003 10:13:12]

Must eat there once a week ! I live in Ocean City N.J., and my wife and I eat there once a week. We are a middle class family who shouldn't be eating out every week, but we can't help staying away from the Atlantic City Bar and Grill. I get a full rack of Baby Back Ribs and an order of Alaskan Snow crabs every time. My wife orders Lobster Ravioli in a pink creamy vodka sauce with jumbo lump crabmeat on top, and a side of spinach in garlic and oil. I drank a 22oz Guinness and she had a glass of Chianti and it all cost only $55. We were able to get a lot of delicios seafood, bar food and Italian food for a reasonable price. The bartender took our picture and posted it on their web-site next to actor George Cloony's picture check us out!! [02 Sep 2003 18:36:13]

A highlight of first trip to Atlantic City Along with the Irish Pub, ACBG was the highlight of a trip to the East Coast. The staff was attentive and friendly, service timely and quality and portions of seafood exceptional.
Tasty Lobster bisque, and the crablegs were meaty and sweet, didn't even need butter! [22 Jul 2006 22:55:36]

Atlantic City Bar and Grill - not again My wife, daughter, two friends and I went to ACBG, and I will never go back. It was snowing last night, and we didn't want to drive anywhere, so we walked across the street to ACBG. Everyone ordered cheap, except me and a friend. We had a rack of ribs, and the bill came to 81 dollars after they added a 19% gratuity. They also charged 2 dollars for a refill. Overall, the food was tasty, but the service was lousy and the prices were ridiculous. In today's economy you would think restauraunts would be lowering some of their prices. [02 Mar 2009 09:53:36]
