Brillant food and service I have just been to the Puddingstone for dinner. It was brillant. I had Italian Chicken, and the rest of my family tried chicken chasseur and filet mignon. We will being going back soon. Give it a try guys, absolutely fantastic. [01 Aug 2007 19:56:17]

Such a Treat A late lunch at the Puddingstone Inn turned into a culinary treat. We literally inhaled the turkey pot pie. It was indescribable. With it's light flaky crust, tantalizing sauce, and a side order of fries to die for; we were in a "London fog" of delightful sustenance. My spouse said he had the best burger he's tasted in years. To top it off our waiter was charmingly personable, attentive, and gave us a plethora of information about the cuisine and the area. As if it couldn't get any better, we shared a dessert that had to be made in heaven, a peach treacle cobbler. Will we return? For sure! [14 Aug 2007 20:45:27]

It's Consistent! I went to the Puddingstone three times. The Salmon dish is incredible and the same every time! The wait staff is friendly and attentive. A nice diamond in the rough. Good Bye Larison's, hello Puddingstone! [31 Aug 2007 22:53:17]

Sunday Brunch could be improved First, the good points: The price is right at $16.95 per person. The food was hot and for the most part tasty. The carving tables were great- succulent roast beef and turkey (did not try the ham).
Second, the not so good points: We were surprised that the buffet brunch did not include any drinks whatsoever - not even coffee or juice. While the carved meat was delicious, there was no gravy. Another big disappointment was the complete lack of desserts. While these were optional for an extra charge, even a limited number of items on the buffet table would be a plus. we would have been willing to pay a bit more for the overall buffet if some drinks and dessert had been included. The wait staff clearly needs more training. Little attention to customers. Our plates piled up high before anyone came to take them away. Spraying nearby tables with cleaning spray while we were still eating surely did not enhance the flavors of the food we were eating.
This restaurant has potential, but needs to be buffed up. [30 Sep 2007 13:48:37]
