Hunan Taste is a delightful restaurant offering outstanding Chinese cuisine at an affordable price
Hunan Taste's service was exceptional and the food was well prepared. The atmosphere is more than desirable with two elegantly decorated dining rooms divided by fish tanks.
Three appetizers were ordered. Cold Noodles in Sesame Sauce ($5.50), Crispy Crab Rangoon ($3.50) and Three Kinds Dumplings ($5.95). The Cold Noodles were average, but not shy on quantity. The Crispy Crab Rangoon's were tasty and the Three Kinds Dumplings were prepared to perfection.
Three main courses were ordered. Spicy Chicken with Broccoli ($11.25), Grand Marnier Shrimp ($18.95) and Sizzling Triple Delight ($15.25). Probably the best Chicken with Broccoli I have ever tasted. The Grand Marnier Shrimp was more of an acquired taste for those of you with a sweet tooth and the Triple Delight arrived sizzling and was enjoyable to the palate.
All entrees come white or brown rice.
Dessert is not their forte; but if you’re not already stuffed from the sizeable portions, they do offer fresh fruit and ice cream.
