Okay, but won't go back My wife, son and I went to this cozy restaurant on a Friday evening and ordered the meals recommended by the owner. Everyone agreed that their meal was pretty good and there was plenty of food served. However, the music was WAY too loud for our liking (I love music and enjoyed what they were playing, but I also enjoy talking to my family). The owner saw that we had problems carrying a conversation and offered to turn the music down. Unfortunately, the music volume went right back up again shortly afterwards, so we gave up talking for the remainder of the meal. We sat in the back of the restaurant to avoid the breeze from the entrance door (it was a colder evening). Unfortunately, the AC was on and blowing cold right down on us. The owner again offered to adjust this for us, but we gave up and put jackets on. The service was very slow. There are only 10 or so tables in the place, so they should be a bit more attentive to your needs. I don't expect them to be standing by your table waiting in anticipation, but I would like to see the waitress pass by a couple of times during the course of the meal. We asked for doggie bags and the check. She delivered the doggie bags, but we had to wait almost 15 more minutes before the check came. I was very glad that I had cash! The place definitely has some potential, but I think they need to lower the juke and raise the customer awareness level - if, of course, they want to cater to a wide range of customers. I am actually a very casual person and tend not to criticize much. If someone else I know tells me that the place was not too loud and the service was okay, I would try it again. Until then, there are plenty of other places to try! [30 Oct 2007 00:28:47]
