Pass
A typical restaurant that is long in the tooth and should have been renovated years ago. The subdued lighting still reflected the tell-tale stains of years of spills. The time I was there, there was an unpleasant smell of stale smoke in the air. The food was forgetable.    [13 Feb 2000 00:13:21]

Adequate
A little overpriced for my taste, but they have a good Scotch selection, and a decent beer and wine list. If you don't want BYOB, there's not much else in the area with the variety that Jake's has that isn't a "family" chain restaurant. Decor is in desperate need of renovation. Dining room is non-smoking, and feels completely different from the "sports bar" atmosphere of the smoking/bar area.    [10 Sep 2003 10:14:00]

Best Food Ever
The food here is unbelieveable . I have ate at Ruth Chris', the Four Seasons, and many other fine dining expereinces, but Jake's is absolutely the best. From the boneless buffalo wings to the chopped steak, you can not go wrong here. Jake's is the best!
