Yummy Fun Great service, great staff that remembers what we like. Accommodating to vegetarians. Very reasonable prices, and clean! [08 May 2002 20:05:53]

My absolute favorite restaurant I love Indian food, and have tried many Indian restaurants in the area. This is the best. Beautiful place, great service, and the food is excellent. [12 Aug 2005 13:38:00]

A Good Choice ... for Everyone Originally located a few miles north on the south-bound side of Route 9 in Manalapan, the restaurant is now located in the Chester Lighting Plaza on the north-bound side in Freehold. Recently, the name has been expanded to Aangan Ginger Thai as a result of their inclusion of Thai cuisine (the restaurant is informally divided into 2 sections; Indian and Thai). There is sure to be something to please everyone, from the very cautious to the bold and adventurous; everything is delicious. Their Thursday buffet is also not to be missed. [03 Oct 2005 23:15:19]

Absolutely the Best Experience I have been going to Aangan for about 10 years and have always had the best experience. Food is outstanding -- both Indian and now Thai. Lamb Chops and all Korma dishes are outstanding. Saturday and Sunday lunch buffets are the best value anywhere. The decor and the original paintings are simply outstanding. [04 Jan 2006 11:10:17]

Not authentic cuisine The restaurant is an attempt at authentic Indian cuisine. Food is very bland, overpriced and sub-par compared to several other Indian restaurants such as Rasoi and Mogul (in Edison and Morristown respectively). But since it's the only Indian restaurant in the area, it's the only choice and they can afford to be pricey. But it is definitely not worth the price. [03 May 2007 18:46:03]
