Where tradition lives on
Basiles is a family owned restaurant, it has great home cooked food. I would say the food is traditional Italian. It is comfort food (feel good food). I always judge a restaurant on the feeling I get from dining there or if I crave certain dishes after I dined there and at Basiles I always need a fix, they have unbelievable seafood Fra Dablo, their pizza is old world Brooklyn good! Great Food and Great Service
I was lucky enough to eat here this weekend as I was in Manalapan for a soccer tournament. It was my first visit. I had the homemade lasagna, which was not only a 5-star dish, but a huge portion. The service staff is a group of professional, courteous, and very attractive girls who were super. I would return here again any time I was in the area. What a great find!    [27 May 2003 14:10:54]

Great Food Great Atmosphere
