Everything was fine except that Oyako Tso did not honor their published policy of 15% off total check for senior citizens on Tuesdays & Thursdays. They would only take 15% off for the senior citizens in the party, but they would not take 15% off the total check.    [10 Aug 2005 16:22:55]

Disappointed
I was excited just looking at the menu because of the variety of sushi offerings. When the food came, we were disappointed in the quality and taste. We had three main dishes, all three were a disappointment.

The chicken teriyaki had nice grill marks, but overcooking made it bitter and dry.

The shrimp tempura were nice size, but we tasted the stale oil and it lingers in your throat.

The 3 kind sushi was a total disaster. The sushi rice was warm and mushy. The fish was thinly sliced 1/8 of an inch. The norm is 1/4 of an inch.

The decor wes decent and I agree with the other reviewer that it was a bit loud at the hibachi tables.    [21 Aug 2005 08:40:10]

WOW!
I can't speak to the normal resturant reviews below, but as far as the Hibachi table style cooking is concerned, it was a great experience and fantastic food. We actually went back a few weeks later and requested the same Chef (Alan). Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted great. It is hands down, the best hibachi place i have ever eaten at.    [15 Aug 2006 18:53:59]

We love it! Go for lunch and save $$$$
We love to go for lunch or have it delivered to our house during lunch time (and even save it for dinner) This way we pay the lunch time prices, and although the portion size may be a bit smaller, the amount we spend is a lot less and it's still a lot of food. My 1 year old loves the salmon terriyaki and requests it by name! My 4 year old can't get enough of the miso soup! I say to go for the bento box dishes... they come with soup, salad, and more!    [09 Apr 2007 14:11:33]
