Came for the music, was blown away by the food
After traveling nearly a thousand miles to see a show at Maxwell's, I was almost completely blown away by the variety and quality of the food.

My wife had the best vegetarian soup she's had anywhere outside of our own kitchen (it was either chick pea or lentil), tasty enough to make this dyed-in-the-wool carnivore order up a bowl of his own.

The grilled tuna steak I had was done to perfection, not over-done, not too rare.

Despite it being a rather busy pre-show night, and our being part of a really large group, the service was prompt and accurate.

The dining room was comfortable, despite it being stiflingly hot and oppressively humid outside. The back room was dark, hot and densely packed for the show (as any good venue tends to be) - we had a great time!    [02 Jun 2006 15:53:10]
