THE BROTHERS MOON is the kind of restaurant you're always hoping will open in your neighborhood. - New York Times, Karla Cook, 24 June 2001 - suggest change

Best in Hopewell and beyond
Simply the best place to eat in Hopewell and on par with the best in Princeton. Just too expensive to bring a family to very often.    [05 Apr 2006 00:40:15]

It's much less spectacular than you'd think
There are excellent restaurants in Hopewell (e.g. the Blue Bottle), but unfortunately, the Brother's Moon did not live up to it's hype. The decor is an old house, and they haven't done too much to it to make it special. The food was simply poor. My partner order the filet - I have NEVER had such a poor filet, tough, thin little medallions with a terrible flavor. I can't remember any longer what I had, but that it was unremarkable. Indeed, I cannot remember one dish there that made us go "pop" now this is good. It's a very nice try by a very nice husband and wife team, but it certainly does not qualify as fine dining.    [24 Oct 2007 13:10:25]
