Let the Chef Cook for You
The restaurant is contained in a single, not very big, room whose high ceiling keeps it from making one feel claustrophobic. Come here with an open culinary mind, and you'll leave happy. Let the chef cook for you. He knows what he's doing, enough that you'll want to dip into your cellar and bring something very nice to drink with the meal. Kids were very pleasantly received, particulalrly for the size of the restaurant and the level of its cuisine. Enthusiastically recommended!    [15 Dec 2002 19:11:48]

49 North Main is an inviting casual lunch and dinner spot located away from the beaten path of Lambertville's Bridge Street. In much need of a short escape from the industrious lunch scene at Lambertville's better known extablishments, my husband and I headed over to this obscure spot. We were seated outside in the whimsical garden among festive wildflowers. I opted for the chicken and goat cheese burger. It turned out to be a delectable choice! The unique combination provided for that melt in your mouth sensation only gained from the most savory dishes! The only downfall was the fact that we felt a bit rushed when the lunch crowd started to accumulate. However, I would strongly recommend 49 North Main as a great choice if you feel inclined to indulge on a tasty diversion from the norm.    [08 Oct 2005 15:50:52]
