Modern American cuisine served in an intimate candle-lit... - Digital City - suggest change
Anton's at the Swan is a perfectly pleasant way to spend an evening, but I suspect that with a bit more aggression in the kitchen, it could become excellent. - LifeStyle Magazine, Brian Freedman, 1 September 2006; LifeStyle Magazine's restaurant review for Anton's at the Swan in Lambertville, NJ. - suggest change

Horrible night out This restaurant totally ignored our 2 month old reservation. We were booked for their private dining room upstairs and when our party of 6 showed up they told us we were basically bumped for a bigger party. We even called to confirm just days before. The food was only mediocre at best - do not recommend. They didn't even comp us anything all night. A horrible night out. [23 Jun 2003 15:04:11]

Romantic Spot, Good Food My wife and I dine Anton's at the Swan whenever we visit Lambertville. The atmosphere in the dining room is very romantic. The nouveau american cuisine is excellent. The only complaint I have is that the service in the bar was slow the last time I was there. [05 May 2004 05:52:02]

Big Price, Small Delivery After looking at the menu online many times I finally decided to take the plunge and plunk down the money for a meal here. My wife and I looked over the menus and were discussing what to have. The dish I had picked was not on my wife's menu and the dish I had picked was not on hers. It turned out both menus we had been given were wrong, and when we got the right one neithe had either dish we had wanted. Things went down hill from there. Service was only mediocre and there were just three tables. The food was nothing special. Well, I have eaten here and I don't need to go back [03 Aug 2005 15:49:19]

Great Food, Beautiful Atmosphere Menu was interesting, food was well seasoned and the dishes were well thought out, presentation was very creative, each dish had it's own particular plate. Service was warm and friendly and the food was served in a timely fashion. The upstairs dining room where we ate was very romantic, cozy and had a distictively antique feel to it, very cool. The pric's looked a bit much for us at first but it was well worth it when we departed. [28 Mar 2007 02:20:47]

Wonderful Food, Quaint Atmosphere I recently brought a group of 5 guests to dinner. Our waitress was wonderful. I ordered the lamb, and it was perfect. I definitely recommend the crab appetizer. It was a lovely evening for everyone. [23 Apr 2007 23:59:20]
