Authentic Thai food served without pretension, and occasionally without charm. [24 Dec 1999 12:33:49]

Keep going back... Thai food at its best! Small restaurant. Please don't bring screaming children. You will need reservations for weekend dining. BYO. No credit cards accepted. Staff is ok -- very busy. Dress is casual. Once you dine here, you will return again and again. [30 May 2003 16:28:59]

Best Thai Food I have ever tried The restaurant is very small and crowded, that's the bad part. The food is absolutely GREAT, very authentic and addictive. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. [11 Aug 2003 15:15:25]

Addictive! Thai Food at its Finest! Siam is a fantastic restaurant: cozy and charming site, courteous and fun staff, yummy authentic cuisine. I would highly recommend this fine establishment time and time again. (And don't leave without trying the home-made coconut milk ice cream!) [24 Oct 2003 12:39:52]

Best of the Best! Great food, lovely staff. It is small, and sometimes a bit too noisy, but once your food arrives you will be transported! Staff willing to make changes and substitutions to just about any dish! Vegetarians will love it, and the carnivores in the group will be thrilled. Don't forget to check out the specials which are posted on construction paper signs. [25 Apr 2004 23:28:31]

The Best Thai Cusine I have been going to Siam since the late 1980's. The food is always the best, the service is always friendly and wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes Thai Food. [09 Oct 2004 11:24:25]

Decent Thai Small, cozy BYO that has excellent food, especially considering the price. While many feel its very authentic, I believe its only moderately so, being a lover of Thai cooking and culture. No noodle dishes whatsoever (well, maybe one appetizer) and very few classic Thai dishes. But their limited selection is quite good, especially the fried whole fish and other seafood. The service is friendly, but hurried and the space is adequate but not anything special. [12 Sep 2006 19:07:51]

The best of the best I am convinced their food contains a habit forming drug. It's the best Thai food in the country, bar none. I am not being melodramatic, it's a fact. Try it and you will see. The green curry chicken is divine, the red snapper with red chili sauce perfect, and the pepper beef appetizer is amazing. Bring your own, and bring cash or a check. [18 Sep 2006 09:36:10]

Good Thai Food While home for the Thanksgiving holiday from Boston, I had a craving for Pad Thai. So my father and I drove out to Lambertville to try Siam, as we had read the wonderful reviews on this website. Upon entering the restaurant, we were a bit taken aback... the ambiance of the place left much to be desired. (But no big deal, right?) We waited 10 minutes before a waitress came to take our order and after 3 disappointing appetizers, we began to feel like perhaps we were missing something -- why were the people around us so enthralled with their meals? After our main courses came out, we knew why. The grouper filet in tamarind sauce with roasted garlic, shallots, and chili peppers was absolutely incredible. It was crispy on the outside with a tender, flaky inside, and had a sweet and spicy sauce like I've never tasted before. The curried peanut chicken was also delicious and satisfying. My father and I both agreed that the excellent main dishes made up for the less than great appetizers. But next time, I'd order take out. [24 Nov 2006 23:59:50]

Horrible Service We tried this place a few times because the reviews were strong, but we don't get it. The portions were tiny and the service was horrible. One night I stopped in to pick up a takeout menu and was told "WE AREN'T DOING TAKE OUT!" and they refused to give a me menu. Eat at your own risk. [13 Apr 2007 12:39:01]
