Best Pizza in the County
The best pizza in Somerset County. Subs are pretty good as are the pasta dishes, although the tomato gravy is a bit to acidic for my taste.

This place might have been good years ago, but today (8/2002) it's dirty, the service it poor (the old guys behind the counter oogle the female patrons), they are slow (I ordered a sub, went to Foodtown to pick up a few items, and came back and all they did was slice the bread!), and 1/2 the items on their 'menu' have tape over them and are no longer available. Not a Has-Been - A Classic!
Best Pizza in Central Jersey. A classic-style pizzeria. No pineapple pizza or bizarre toppings. Same guys have been there for years. Linoleum floors and tables and gruff but nice staff, just the way a pizzeria should be.    [31 Jul 2002 20:52:50]

The Best Anywhere
Growing up in Manville, I became spoiled. I've been everywhere, and am now in the south, and you can't compare. I challenged a few friends who thought there was better and NOPE. A trip up north always has a stop at Manville pizza.    [18 Nov 2002 15:31:09]

Oldie but a goody
This pizza joint is excellent. I remember going thhere as a kid for pizza and calzones (amazing). I was away from Central Jersey for about 12 years but when I came back I went straight to Manville Pizza for a sicilian pie and a fresh calzone (even better than i remembered as a kid). The pizza guys still dress in white pants, red and white striped shirts, aprons and white paper hats (classic, like the old days).    [04 Dec 2002 16:39:20]

Simply the Best!
I have been going here for years, and although it isn't the fanciest eatery, it is certainly one of the most delicious!!! My family's favorites include: spaghetti and meatballs, steak sandwiches, and well done pies. Oh and I can't leave out the garlic knots and special salad (ham, cheese, and salami over delicious greens), the perfect compliment to any dinner.    [11 Dec 2002 21:06:54]

Jersey boy misses real pizza
Another Jersey transplant to California is missing his pies. The crap they serve out here is frilly toppings on cardboard with goat cheese. I seldom get an opportunity to take friends back home to sample a real pie, but when I do it's bliss for me and a life-altering experience for them. Manville Pizza will be featured in a book I am currently writing. Incidently, is there any way I can get a pie delivered to me in Napa? I'd pay any delivery charge!

The Best just got Better!
Manville Pizza always had the best pizza. They've been making it the same way for over 30 years. But, now they've moved locations (across the parking lot from their old spot) to Main St. in Manville and the new location is BEAUTIFUL! new high ceilings, granite counters and cherry tables but still the Best pizza from the good old days.
