Nice Restaurant My wife and I were told by a friend that Singapore restaurant & Sushi Bar in Mt Laurel, NJ is a great restaurant to dine in.
We went there on Friday evening, the restaurant is small but cozy and has a contemporary set up. Once you step in the restaurant, you will be greeted by a young lady and sushi chef.
The sushi is so fresh, we ordered a Red Dragon roll, and tuna, salmon & yellowtail sushi. The Red dragon was great, with spicy tuna and cucumber inside topped with tuna and spicy sauce... what a combination.
The appetizer we ordered, Roti Canai & curry puff were very good. Multi-layer pancake dipped in a special curry sauce. The curry puff was served with tamarind sauce, you have to try yourself.
Overall, the service is good, the staff is friendly and willing to explain the menu to you.
Is a great place to dine, Friday & Saturday call ahead. [10 Feb 2007 09:59:58]

A Singapore regular. I was apprehensive about Singapore because I used to frequent the restaurant that previously occupied the location. I am so happy that I tried them out. Always ready to please or answer questions, the staff was a delight. The sushi is outstanding and inventive. The noodle dishes and soups are tremendous. I loved the Mee Goreng and the scallop sushi roll. [14 Jun 2007 18:40:52]

Singapore is AMAZING! I've tried other sushi bars, but none compare. I drive 30 minutes out of the way just for their sushi rolls. The owners are the friendliest people and make you feel at ease. The sushi chef is more than happy to explain the Japanese lingo to you if you are unfamiliar with sushi. There is usually only a few other people occupying the small restaurant, even on weekend nights, so it feels very private, and they ENCOURAGE you to sit back and take your time. The decor is a little strange, but it has character, and the food is what you're there for anyway! This place is a must if you are looking for friendly staff, great food (especially sushi), and a relaxing, quiet atmosphere. [06 Aug 2007 00:35:36]

Excellent Sushi! My husband and I stopped at Singapore last night because I had always wanted to go there. We only had time for sashimi and sushi because we had to pick up our daughter sooner than we thought we would.
Both the white tuna and smoked salmon sashimi were excellent, and we loved the presentation atop a bed of ice with various other "decorations" and fresh lemon.
Our two special rolls also were both yummy and beautifully presented. We ordered a California roll to go for our teenage daughter, who said it was the best California roll she had ever had.
We will definitely go back and try the rest of the menu. Nice atmosphere, friendly service. [16 Jan 2008 14:43:04]
