Great Thin Crust Pizza

Much More Than Pizza
The pizza here is delicious but that is only the beginning. This is a fine Italian restaurant with old favorites and luscious specialties. We come here often and enjoy starting our meal with their excellent pasta e fagioli soup. I love their gnocchi and marinara sauce and their tasty meatballs, but some of the specialties are fine, as well. Try their veal pizzaiola or chicken piccata or marsala. They do it all, and very well. They also feature beautiful sandwiches and calzones. Service is friendly and efficient, and this is a very clean and tidy place.    [10 Aug 2007 19:14:57]

Cockroach
I picked up a pizza on 8-5-06. After eating most of one slice, I saw a cockroach that had been baked into it. My 7 year old daughter started crying. She said she would never eat pizza again.

I took it back immediately and announced to the entire restaurant that the pizza had roaches in it (repeatedly). The owner came up to the counter (after all the cooks had shrunk back) and said "Huh?" I held the slice with the roach in it up to his face and said 'What is that? What is that?" I could see he was trying to think of anything to say, then, under his breath, he said, "It's a cockroach." His next statement? He said it may have been in the box. Like that would make it ok. I pointed out in a very loud voice that it had been baked into the pie-there was even some melted cheese on it.

He asked what I wanted him to do, and I tossed the whole pizza (plus the 3 half-eaten slices) and said "A refund would be a good start, don't you think?" He stared dumbly at me while the Mexican guy gave me back 13 bucks and change. I announced several more times to the diners that the food here had roaches, then left.

I'm still skivved out, even though it's been 18 hours.

Well, I'm telling everyone I know, having them tell everyone they know. I'm still hot. I thought typing this would help. Right now I feel like putting on sandwich boards and standing in front of the place, warning everyone. If one person reads this, and doesn't go there, well, I don't know.
