Hands Down Best The best of all, seafood, salad, and the Prime Rib is a must for any beef lover. Love the service, the atmosphere, the whole experience. It seems I can't go there without getting the Cattleman's cut prime rib, which is about 2-3" thick and falls apart, it's so tender. Phenomenal restaurant, but I actually liked going better when there was a dress code. Still, the place uses the same menus they did when I first went thirteen years ago. My absolute favorite restaurant. [26 Jun 2001 14:12:57]

Love it! Can't tell you anything else about the food, been eating the same thing for the last 30 years or so. Went as a kid and now take my kids and all my friends there. Nothing better for the price, consistant and never go away hungry! Lots of bread, real butter (not that cheap margarine crap) and water on every table) Life doesn't get any better than that! Pass on the Pub I have not been to the Pub in years until this past Saturday night, and now I know why. The salad at the salad bar was in big chunks that should have been cut before being put out. It made it very hard to put on your plate. I ordered a steak well done it was still bloody inside and it had a very bad aftertaste - I wish I could remember what cut of steak, but I can't. I should have sent it back but I did not want anyone too tamper with it. Overall it was okay but nothing too write home about. I could have made steak at home and saved myself $100.00 [31 Mar 2003 13:12:11]

The Best Place Ever Those with a sense of irony will get a huge kick out of the decor. Those lacking irony will be impressed with the decor. The portions are enormous, the food is first rate, and the prices for what you get are extremely reasonable. Service is friendly and efficent. [17 Feb 2004 12:25:36]

Still Great After 37 Years! I first went to The Pub in 1967 as a fresh-faced computer whiz working for RCA and visiting the Cherry Hill facility. I still go often today, making a 90 minute drive to get there. The quality and ambiance are still the same. I took my children there often, and getting ready for my grandson's first visit there. Still my favorite restaurant of all. [27 Jun 2004 10:36:24]

Great Atmosphere, Great Dining. A family favorite. I can't get to this restaurant often enough. The food, The service, and the atmosphere make for an A-1 dining experience. The salad bar is always fresh. My grandfather always loved getting there early so he can sit in the waiting room, watch the game and drink a scotch on the rocks. I love the pasta salad & mushroom salad. As a child I always got the chopped sirloin with fries and a big onion ring atop my meal (extra gravy), and the 1 foot tall slice of choco cake that lasts for 3 or 4 days before getting sick of chocolate . I am 29 now and sometimes get the same thing. I love almost everything on their menu (just not a seafood lover). I highly reccomend this restaraunt. Great prices for the portions. Customer Service, I Don't Think So! My wife and I went on a Sunday evening ordered prime rib rare. We were directed to the salad bar. A half hour later our server informed us that she had just been told that only medium prime rib was left. We decided not to wait another half hour for another selection and were presented with a bill for $21 for the salad bar. What bad customer service. We tried speaking with the "manager" who spoke little English. No more visits to the Pub for us. [27 Feb 2006 03:28:26]

Everything changes We have been going to the Pub for many years. This was our 4th visit since it's re-opening and it will be our last. The wait as usual was long, 1.5 hours. There were 12 in our party. The salad bar was OK, still have the great mixed salads and walnut bread, and of course the blue cheese dressing you cannot find anywhere else. 40 minutes after ordering our meals the food came, not all at the same time mind you, then after one brave person returned her steak two times, it came back as everyone else at the table was done their dinners. Out of 12 of us only 5 people got their steak as requested, onion rings were ice cold and undercooked. 4 of us ordered the Carpetbagger which was filet with crab, the menu made it sound like the crab was over the steak, when it came we all were unpleasently surprised it was more like a crab imperial on a separate dish. Each of us said we would not have ordered it if we had known it was like that. All and all we were very, very dissatisfied. We did complain to manager and was told we would be given dessert on the house for all, but by this time all any of us wanted was to get out of there. We had arrived at 6:15 and it was now 10:00. Good bye to an old family tradition. Our bill was almost $500 with tip and we would have been much happier at a chain steak house. [28 Jan 2007 16:07:19]

Stay Away! If you stay away, my party and I will have an even better time! Can the complaints and plan your sojourn. I have been an enthusiastic patron of The Pub since 1982, and I go there two to three times a year (I live in Atlanta, GA) with an unconditional appreciation for the salad bar and the house specialty filet mignon, the only entree I have ever had. The service ranges from superlative to good but never disappoints. Perhaps, the secret behind my kudos is all in the timing. I always get there early for dinner, never later than 6:00pm, and rarely have a problem either getting seated or getting praiseworthy service. Therefore, I recommend The Pub wholeheartedly to those who want to enjoy both a special salad bar and a special piece of beef. The rest of you: please, stay home! [22 Oct 2007 00:16:26]

Don't trust anyone who doesn't love the pub Even my wife who is a vegetarian loves the pub for it's salad bar. The steaks are done perfectly and the price is right. [17 Jan 2009 20:42:19]
