Good bar food (an excellent burger), and I think the latest open kitchen (except perhaps Triumph Brewery) within walking distance around Princeton. Open until midnight. It can get a little crowded and packed, so bring a friend and share a table if you're worried about looking like a lonely sad sack.

The restaurant is much less interesting then the Pub Section, although it can be nice in the Summer (there's an open air bit.)

Friendly waitstaff and fast service are a big plus; basically a nice place to catch up with an old friend.    [10 Sep 2003 22:16:13]

Lovely atmosphere
We have had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. In the summer I would definitely recommend the outside patio. Lovely atmosphere.
The food was great, especially the "Sesame Crusted Tuna". Absolutly to die for!    [09 Aug 2004 12:09:06]

Lovely ambiance
We usually order from the "pub menu", but we have dined in the main dining room (formal), the terrace (informal), and the pub (dark and cozy). We find the food consistently delicious, eclectic and presented beautifully. The hamburgers are the best in the entire state of NJ! The service is courteous and friendly.    [04 Aug 2005 20:35:08]

Go Here to Drink Beer and Eat Pub Stew, Nothing Else
The Pub Stew is fantastic, they understand how to pour a Guiness with finesse and the staff are very nice and professional. The burger is NOT good, as it came with a grease-saturated bun (the two times I ordered it). The Mexican-style appetizers taste like something conceived in North Dakota, where I imagine not many Mexicans reside. A Chicken Ceasar salad came swimming in dressing, a common enough transgression, but undesireable nonetheless. Great location, late hours and the nice indoor/outdoor type seating are positives. So, we go here for the beer and venture carefully out from there, most frequently with minimal sucess.    [04 May 2007 23:25:57]

What happened to this Place???
The other choices in Princeton aren't great, but they are much better than this! I hate to say it because I used to love this place but I just gave it 3 tries. Each time I hoped for a great pub burger. Nope. Why is it so hard for a restaurant to make a good burger? On our last visit, the table next to us saw a mouse run by. Maybe that's why the burger has shrunk so much in the bun. A little cheese with that.    [02 Jun 2007 00:31:38]
