Horrible Indian Food and worst service Nothing good to say about this restaurant. Big disappointment to our entire family. Never go there on a Saturday night. Prices were reasonable but that was the only thing reasonable about this restaurant. [28 Sep 2002 01:21:02]

THE BEST IN TOWN This is a wonderful, warm place. The food is excellent, the service friendly and prompt. [03 Dec 2002 16:33:03]

Tastiest Tikka Masala Around Service was excellent, friendly, and generously gave us extra bread and naan. [08 Mar 2003 18:53:44]

Indian Food for Non-Indians This restaurant by far serves the worst Indian food in the tri-state area. The service is not much better. We went on a Saturday and got very poor service due to lack of staff. The restaurant looks very impressive but has no substance [07 Apr 2003 15:21:40]

One of the Best Indian Buffet around NJ This is always the first choice for our family for Indian Buffet. We have gone there several times. We enjoyed the food as well as the service. [11 Apr 2003 14:53:04]

Would Not Recommend One visit is all it takes to come to a conclusion that this restaurant is being run by inexperienced people. The food and service was equally poor. The staff was not helpful in making recommendations. The food was not very tasty. I wish Moghul would open a branch in Princeton. [07 Jun 2003 19:13:25]

Try it more than once The first time I went to Kalluri Corner, it was awful. We had gone for the lunch buffet, and all of the food tasted digusting. I recently went back for a second trip (dragged by my husband), and to my great delight, found the food (again, the lunch buffet) was delicious! I was amazed by the difference. The thing that gets somewhat annoying is the way that the waitstaff hovers around your table, waiting to be of service. On one hand, I can appreciate that, knowing that I never have to ask for a refill or whatever, but it does get annoying to have someone standing there watching your every move like that. I wish they would find other things to do, and just casually keep an eye on the guests instead of hovering like that. [10 Sep 2003 10:34:34]

We are very picky about ethnic restaurants but we absolutely love the place. Fanatastic buffets. The decor could use some review but otherwise a warm a wonderful proprietor makes the whole experience just that much better. Highly recommended. [26 Oct 2003 10:10:32]

BAD INDIAN FOOD The food was very very bad and service was not too great either, although our waiter was very apologetic for the delay in getting our dinners. Some of the dishes were served at room temperature and others were piping hot. Out of the four curries ordered, three of them tasted identical.
I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my friends. [29 Nov 2003 14:41:45]

Disgusted I ate at Kalluri Corner a number of times last year. While the food is not the best authentic Indian, the lunch buffet is all-you-can-eat and they provide a student discount. However the last time I was there (Sept. 2003) my girlfriend and I saw roaches crawling about the buffet near the fruit. That was it. I told the hostess politely; she was gracious and of course embarrassed, and quickly went to squashing bugs. But I'm sorry. After an experience like that, you never go back. I get a little squeamish eating at any restaurant now in the complex shared by Kalluri. [23 Jun 2004 20:09:03]
