Swank and cheap For the price, Teresa's is a class act with an airy atmosphere. Some excellent food, with fresh ingredients, and some great desserts. It can get a little crowded, but it's a good place for a date, if not the first or second one. Also a nice upscale place to bring a group. [10 Sep 2003 22:03:01]

Teresa's Cafe Italiano I dined here in the late fall with my family and ordered a pasta dish. When the dish arrived, it was too hot to eat, so I had to wait several minutes so as not to burn my mouth. When I took a bite, my first impression was good. However, as I chewed the pasta, the taste of a jalapeno pepper filled my mouth and I had to lunge for a glass of water. After several bites I could no longer eat any more because of the spiciness -- not that I could taste it any more, anyway. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes, so I am sure that the food is perfectly good. However, nowhere in the description of the dish did it say that there was going to be an enormous, slit-open jalapeno pepper on top of the pasta. [11 Jan 2004 08:39:12]

Eat here frequently, fine food This is one of the few casual restaurants in Princeton where you can get a glass of good wine and some pretty good food. I eat here frequently.
The pizzettes are nice and flavorful, if sometimes lukewarm. Are they made beforehand, or made fresh and left sitting around to cool? Dunno.
Salads are also fresh. Pastas are fine, nothing to complain about but also nothing to write home about.
Bread is quite good, and served with good olive oil. Reasonably-priced wine list that tilts toward Italy and California. [19 Jul 2005 17:04:09]

Great food I took a chance and brought a client here for the first ever visit (lunch). The food was terrific and the service was great. I ordered the pasta with pesto and it was to die for. I didn't order desert, but the cappuccino was tasty. [30 Aug 2005 10:25:06]

Great place We had a delightful evening with a party of 7 on a Thursday night. The service was excellent and the food was well prepared. It was worth the 15 minute wait. [31 Dec 2005 14:24:24]

Profoundly Mediocre Nothing is "bad" per se, but neither is anything really good. Definitely not worth the price or the wait. [22 Nov 2006 13:57:26]
