Great food, but the small size of the restaurant limits seating. Try take out if you don't want to hassle with the wait on a Friday or Saturday night. I especially recommend the Panfried noodles, Chowfun, and Special fried rice. [21 Jun 2003 19:21:25]

Tiger Noodles Rocks The food was scrumptious. You should try the Chicken and garlic sauce along with the wonton soup. The chicken was very tender, juicy and warming to the heart. I enjoyed it very much. One aspect that I believe is quite odd is that Tiger Noodles had more rice dishes than noodles dishes. I find this facet quite interesting. However, the food is still excellent anyway! [29 Jun 2003 09:51:56]

Far better than Karen's Restaurant Packed to the gills, because the food is fast, excellent at the price, and well done. A very large menu with all the standards. Go here for a working lunch, or if you're in a hurry. They should get some table sharing going to help beat the rush.
Outdoor seating a big plus. [10 Sep 2003 22:37:47]

Best Chinese Food Tiger Noodles is one of the best chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. The prices are great, the service fast and efficient and unassuming. I don't understand why people go to Karen's or Orchid Pavillion. The restaurant transcends the proverbial saying concerning Chinese restaurants: the dirtier the bathroom, the better the food. (The bathroom at Tiger Noodles is pretty damn clean.) In the winter Tiger Noodles is quite crowded because of the limited seating, but in the summer, terrace dining is enjoyable. Try the mushi shrimp, and the veggie dumplings are the best in the land. Lunch combos are awesome as well. [22 Dec 2003 20:00:17]

Best Chinese Food I Ever Had OK, I've had authentic home cooked chinese food, and then there's tiger noodles. Tiger noodles has that real authenticity that most other chinese restaurants tend to lack. It doesn't have that "americanized" over-greased, over-sweetened generic taste. The staff are very nice and down to earth. They talked and joked with me and suggested a lot of dishes. I highly recommend the Soft shell crab (seasonal) and the Spicy Beef Soup. The only con is that the seating area is very small, but during warm weather the outdoor seating is great. [02 May 2004 11:08:15]

Very average A phenomenon of the Soup Nazi -- if you are rude and impatient, your food must be good. But I've tried it a couple times to see why people like it. I've found the food average. Once they lost my order and pretended it was my fault. The dumplings are good. The main dishes rely heavily on celery to fill out them out. [03 May 2004 18:49:06]

Our Fave Great pan fried noodles ... just like Chinatown in NYC .. and awesome dumplings. However, it does get crowded so get there early if you expect to get any seating. Otherwise, as with any other crowded establishment in Princeton (usually after 5PM on weekends) expect less than their best. [18 Jun 2004 15:17:47]

Don't know what the hype is all about, very disappointed! Tiger Noodle is no better than any other Chinese restaurant. Food is exactly the same, americanized, not authentic whatsoever. I was excited to eat at Tiger Noodle after reading couple of reviews, rating them so high. But I have to say I was disappointed after my meal, it was chinese food I can get anywhere else, nothing special. I had way better Chinese food than Tiger Noodle before. [12 Apr 2005 12:21:58]

Best Chinese Food in Central/South New Jersey I'm not surprised to hear someone from New York City or San Francisco criticize this place. If you've got hundreds of Chinese restaurants to choose from in a concentrated area, there's bound to be a few better than Tiger Noodles, especially if seating a large party. HOWEVER, compared to the couple hundred Chinese restaurants in the Central/Southern New Jersey area (and I've tried many of them), this place is as good as it gets. The steamed seafood dumplings melt in your mouth. The moo shu chicken is always delicious. The shrimp and seafood soup is a delight. Probably the best thing I could say about this place, even more important to the Chinese food neophyte or someone with a tender stomach, is that the food is always fresh here. They don't use much, if any, MSG so you won't regret eating here later. Enjoyable, consistent, well above average. [26 Sep 2005 04:32:59]

Once A Week At Least My wife and I travelled to Asia frequently. The food at Tiger Noodle is comparable. Great service! We go frequently. Recommend the spicy dumplings & A Little Bit of Everything soup! [19 Dec 2005 14:30:13]
