Disappointing The food was pedestrian. It's a tourist trap menu, nothing special about it. Couldn't even get the kid's burger done right; it was a charcoal briquette after asking for it medium. They cleaned up the dining room, put linen on the tables and charge too much for average food. We were a family of 5 and the bill was $111. We asked for a birthday dessert and the waitress came out with no candle and forgot my wife's name, and blamed the candle mishap on a Russian in the kitchen. Poorly managed, less than average wait staff and an uninspired menu. They couldn't even sit us next to the window because we had five and there are 4-tops around the glass. Put two tables together, I suggested, and they wouldn't do that, but then proceeded to sit us at a 6-top away from the view of the water. Disappointing all the way around. Could be a great spot under better management. [13 Jul 2005 09:32:27]

New Owners We recently had dinner at the Lobster Loft. The place is under new ownership. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is excellent. The Chef came out and talked to all the customers... that doesn't happen at most places. He suggested the Steak Anthony. I never had anything like it... it was great. It's a little pricey, but is well worth it. [11 Dec 2006 18:23:22]
