Great Italian Food
We have been frequenting Mama Mia's for years now. I used to be a "Shoobie," but I bought a house five miles from Mama Mia's eight years ago. Joseph's food is excellent; try the nightly specials for something new and unusual or try an old favorite.    [13 Jun 2003 12:32:19]

I Love good food, and their Veal Valentino is second to none.

Also ask for the Bakers Dozen Clams in Red Sauce. It's not on menu, but if they aren't to busy, ask for it.    [08 Jul 2007 11:50:23]

Cutting Back on Quality and Quantity
I see how the proprietor Joe M,. is dealing with inflation - we recently had the displeasure of ordering chicken caesar salad, shrimp caesar salad, cheese steak and turkey sub. All were remarkably skimpy in their portions, and the quality was suspect. Six tiny shrimp on one salad, a gristly chicken breast on the other. The meat in the subs probably weighed 2 ounces. Overrated!!
Big disappointment for me and my family. I was expecting a great meal in a nice Italian restaurant and it turned out to be a regular Italian restaurant and pizzeria. The mussels that I ordered smelled so bad that I had to return them. My wife was not pleased either with the chicken dish that she ordered. I do not recommended.    [15 Aug 2009 19:23:46]
