Local college pub/restaurant (Seton Hall is a stone's throw away) and favorite of upscale South Orange Village, Gaslight Brewery offers home brews and an extensive menu. There is the typical pub fare but look for specials which include German favorites made by 'Mama' who cooks and takes command of the kitchen with consistency and care. Her plates are delicious, creative and the ingredients of a high quality. Portions are large so don't be put off by the pricer cost of things, you'll usually have leftovers for tomorrow.
