Awesome Salad Bar, Tasty Beef and Seafood
The best salad bar around! Everything is in abundance and very fresh. This restaurant works a little differently: you go to a little window to the kitchen and order your meat or fish by the ounce. You get to see what you're getting! After you order, help yourself to the incredible salad bar. In fact, that's all I order there while my husband enjoys a big steak. The ambiance is different -- it's very dark with the walls lined with books. A assortment of Tiffany style lamps hang everywhere.    [12 Feb 2002 09:21:02]

Highway Robbery! A complete ripoff!
I was charged 57 Dollars For a 24 Oz. New York Strip Steak which came with nothing else, so the 57 dollars was for the meat only! The taste was ok at best. The person with me ordered a flouder fillet (or at least it was called a fillet) which was full of small bones and and inedible. The atmosphere was like a dungeon. I have eaten in steak restaurants in many states and to charge that price for that steak is an outright atrocity. I looked forward to eating at the Library 2 for an entire week, and now I will never recommend it to anyone. The one positive note was the floor manager was a very nice and courteous woman and refunded the money for the Flounder but she actually tried to justify the price for the steak.    [31 Oct 2005 09:39:33]

Disgusting
Bad steak, bad salad bar and smelly books.

That says it all.
