GREAT Sunday Brunch I thought the service and staff was Impressive to say the least. They were very friendly to my wife and children! I've been there many times for Sunday Brunch and would visit again and again. [06 Apr 2002 15:26:26]

Easter Brunch This was the worst brunch I have ever been to. The food was lukewarm and in some cases, cold. Some of the food was not even recognizable. It was not attractively presented, and of poor quality. The service was good, and the waiters were pleasant and helpful, which is the only good thing I can say about it. [26 Apr 2003 11:49:24]

Sunday Brunch I thought that the sunday brunch was very nice... it was definitely worth the cost. The entertainment was a nice surprise, I did not expect a singer and a magician. The service was great and the food was pleantiful and various. I'm doing it again next weekend. [08 Jul 2003 10:14:31]

A Real Disappointment Recently, my family and I made a repeat visit to the Mansion for Sunday Brunch. We have had many enjoyable meals there, however this time proved to be a real disappointment. First of all, there were so many unbehaved children there, it looked like "Romper Room". I love children but when I'm spending $30 for brunch, I don't expect to see toddlers running around. Secondly, Half of the food was warm at best. I prefer my food hot, not bordering on chilly. On a positive note, the waffles were light and delicious. Thirdly, when the bill arrived, a 21% tip was included. I felt that to be very unacceptable. When the hostess was questioned, she answered that the tip is automatically included for parties of 5 or more. I feel that 21% is extremely high, especially for brunch when all the waitress did was fill our water glasses and remove dirty dishes, and even that was not done adequately. I have no problem leaving a generous tip - I have left as much as 25% when warranted, but I feel that ther customer should have the option to decide what is deserved. The hostess finally did remove the 21% and we left what we felt the waitress deserved. [15 Oct 2004 09:53:47]

Skip Holiday Buffets We had a terrible time at Thanksgiving, and will not be recommending this establishment to any of our colleagues, relatives or friends. We expected a high level of service, and our expectations were not met.
First, when we arrived the staff had not set up for my two children. We never received the booster seats that we had reserved. Then, it took over fifteen minutes for our waitress to greet us. We were confused and uncomfortable.
We had several other problems. They included:
(1) When I asked for ketchup for my children's food, the server said that he didn't know if ketchup was available. The answer should have been, "Yes, Madam. I will bring it immediately." Instead, I was made to feel like my son's request was strange.
(2) The lines for food were intolerably long. It took over 15 minutes for one trip to the buffet line.
(3) The waitstaff took over 15 minutes to get a cup of coffee.
(4) The turkey carving server at the buffet was rude to my relatives who asked for larger servings of turkey.
(5) The pie and cake table ran out of dishes. There were cookies out on the table cloth and not on a serving plate. I felt that this was not sanitary. The Mansion ran out of pumpkin pie.
Overall, the quality of our Thanksgiving experience was poor. To top it off, the Mansion added an undeserved 21 percent tip to our bill. There was no manager in sight to complain about the bill. I would like to contest the tip with American Express. I was embarassed to have recommended the Mansion to my family. The Mansion should be embarassed by the quality of my family's Thanksgiving dinner. It was an exceptionally disappointing experience. [30 Nov 2007 19:53:44]
