Great Location, Service and Food. An ideal spot for lunch or dinner. Beautiful View. A Hidden Treasure. Everything was top notch, food, service and the view of the Bay was awesome. [20 Jun 2007 18:22:09]

Great Food Hidden in the back of a marina/yacht club with beautiful views of ducks and geese and swans on the bay. The tuna was fantastic, and the ginger in the ginger teriyaki sauce was fresh and zingy. The calamari and the fried mozzarella had its precedence only beneath the crab dip and chips for appetizers. For dessert check out the lava cake and the bread pudding. They were great. Ask for a scoop of ice cream to accompany the lava cake too. Child friendly. Reserve if you have a group of more than six. Waitresses are kind, have personality, and mind their manners. They give you time to digest the food a bit before you get dessert, and refilled glasses minutes after they emptied. A good restaurant for fresh seafood. Clean restaurant. [01 Jun 2008 21:12:29]

Hidden Treasure Took the family to try Bay View Terrace on an "inside tip" from a friend. Our dining experience was great - everyone was so friendly from the moment we walked in the door. There is no better view of the bay, with the lighthouse in plain view. They also have outside tables near the pool, and some other tables in a big "sandbox" under a pergola where you can take your shoes off and enjoy the bay-front ambiance. By the way, the food was great. Now I know why my friend recommended Bay View Terrace. I'll be doing the same. [17 Jun 2008 12:29:47]

Great Date Spot I took my wife here for our third year anniversary. The service and food was excellent. Our server (Robyn) was a delight. She made us feel very comfortable, and made good conversation with us. We can't wait for our next visit! [23 Oct 2008 08:13:01]

Poorly Run Restaurant I visited the Bay View Terrace last night. We were seated at 7:30 at a great table and thought we had found a great spot to eat. I noticed the restaurant was half empty with the exception of 2 parties of 16. We ordered our food complete with 2 appetizers, salads, and entrees. As I finished my appetizer, I noticed that all of the tables outside had not received their dinners yet and they were seated first. We made a comment to the waitress who was very nice about the wait. I waited another 20 minutes and then discussed this with the hostess and she said she would talk to the owner Stan. 15 minutes later I asked Stan how long I should expect to wait for food. He said he was busy. I waited 20 more minutes, and no food and no Stan to apologize. At this point, other customers started to complain as well, and still no Stan. Our food came out 90 minutes after we sat down and it was definitely not worth the wait. When my check came I personally delivered it to Stan along with my view of how he runs his place. I also suggested to him that he not send out his servers to do his dirty work with the customers. At this point, Stan got in my face and starting pushing me out of the restaurant. I guess he did not like me telling the waiting patrons how bad the place was. In all of my travels I have never been treated with such ill regard. I spent my hard earned money at an establishment that couldn't care less. Times are tough for restaurants these days and this is no way to win loyalty. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Applebees and McDonalds treat their customers better . [02 Aug 2009 15:40:58]

Wonderful Dining Experience We visit the Bay View on weekends for breakfast at least three times a month and love the place. The spectacular view of the bay along with great tasting food and friendly staff keeps us coming back. We've never been disappointed. We also go for dinner on occasion and it's just as great. The atmosphere is tastefully nautical and very comfortable. It strikes us that the owner has a lot of integrity and it shows in the way he runs the restaurant and the small touches that make this place comfortable. Also, the place is spotless, clean as a whistle, a must for us. [09 Oct 2009 10:35:19]
